Terms of Service

What this service does
Show It Works stores short recordings of software test runs and gives each one a viewer link. Recordings are usually uploaded by an automated agent on your behalf. You sign in with a GitHub or Google account; there is no other way to register.
Recordings are deleted after up to 60 days
Every recording and its viewer link are deleted automatically 14 to 60 days after upload, depending on the plan of the project it was uploaded into at the time — a project's limits and retention come from whoever pays for that project, not from whoever recorded the video. This is a feature, not a fallback: the service is for proving that a change worked, not for keeping an archive. Do not use it as your only copy of anything you need to keep. You may also delete a recording yourself at any time.
Viewer links are public
A viewer link is unguessable but unrestricted: anyone who receives it can watch the recording without signing in. You are responsible for what you record. Do not capture credentials, API keys, personal data belonging to other people, or anything else you would not publish.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to store unlawful material, to harass anyone, to distribute malware, or to publish other people’s personal data. We may remove a recording, suspend an account, or refuse service if these terms are broken. Usage limits apply to each account and may change.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is, without any warranty. It may be unavailable, may lose data, and may change or shut down. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from using it. If you do not accept this, do not use the service.
